Imagine the 1928 World's Fair in Paris and the coinciding centennial celebration of Jules Verne's birth and you'll get the picture. Imagine any of the gentlemen heroes from these classic stories and it's easy to imagine Steinhausen's Voyager adorning their wrists on magnificent adventures. The quality and craftsmanship is impeccable. But it's the details that make this timepiece truly unique. The face has a built-in Voyager window with a nautilus-bridge spanning the opening and spring loaded flywheel for view into one of the most advanced automatic movements in the world. What does automatic movement mean for you? It never needs batteries and it never needs to be wound. It's constantly wound by the kinetic movement of your body. 2 calendar apertures display day of the week, month and numerical month flip dial. Ivory enamel face with black Roman numerals complete the handsome look of this once in a generation timepiece. And like all Steinhausens the Voyager was entirely crafted and assembled by hand just like in 1923. Water resistant to 50 meters. Brushed stainless steel case.
