Tear Mender is the natural latex, non-toxic acid free adhesive that bonds permanently to anything it can penetrate and stays flexible. Bonds are useable / wearable in 3 minutes, wash-proof in 15 minutes.
Intended Use: Tear Mender is ideally suited for repairs on clothing, leather, upholstery, home decor, sport / marine gear and more. When dry, Tear Mender is waterproof and UV resistant. Repairs to items used both indoors and out are durable and long lasting.
Recommended for use on:
- Cotton Fabrics: Tear Mender bonds
are useable / wearable in 3 minutes and washable in 15 minutes.
- Leather: Tear Mender bonds to the
open fiber (underside) of leather. It will no harm the smooth,
finished surface. Minor repairs are useable in 3 minutes. Large
repairs (like those on upholstery) should be allowed to set for 30 minutes
before heavy use.
- Acrylics and Vinyl: Tear Mender
bonds well to the fabric underside of vinyl. On both fabric types,
bonds should be set for 30 minutes before heavy use.
- Nylon and Synthetic Materials for Utility
Repairs: Tear Mender creates useable but visible repairs on these
materials. A "sandwich method" is recommended for these types of
repairs.
